Some Purisia pages include affiliate links. If you buy through those links, Purisia may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
What are affiliate links
Affiliate links are tracked URLs that connect you to retailers, marketplaces, or brands. When you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase or action (like signing up or adding items to a cart), the retailer may pay Purisia a referral commission. Commissions help fund research, writing, hosting, and site maintenance. Your purchase price does not change.
How we disclose affiliate relationships
We aim to identify affiliate links clearly on each page. Look for language like "affiliate link," "we earn a commission," "link to this product," or similar markers. If an affiliate relationship is not clearly marked and you believe it should be, contact us through the contact page with the URL.
Editorial independence
Affiliate potential does not guarantee that a product will be featured, recommended positively, ranked higher, or described favorably. We do not publish articles solely to promote affiliate sales. Products without affiliate relationships can and do appear on Purisia. Our goal is to explain who a product fits, who should skip it, and which tradeoffs matter—not to maximize commissions.
How products are selected
Products may be selected based on: ingredient profiles, brand claims, reader demand, retailer availability, price range, reviews and feedback, category relevance, editorial coverage gaps, or personal testing experience. A product can appear on Purisia even if we earn no commission. When evaluating products, we prioritize usefulness to readers over affiliate potential.
Sponsored content and paid partnerships
If Purisia publishes sponsored articles, gifted product coverage, paid placements, brand collaborations, or other commercial partnerships beyond affiliate links, we will label that relationship clearly where it appears (e.g., "Sponsored," "Paid Partnership," "In collaboration with"). Sponsored content should not override our obligation to be clear and useful.
Retailers and affiliate networks
Affiliate relationships may involve: e-commerce sites (Amazon, Sephora, Ulta, retailers); affiliate networks (ShareASale, Impact, Rakuten); beauty brands and direct-to-consumer sellers; marketplace platforms; subscription services; or other commerce partners. Each affiliate program has its own terms, policies, and commission structures, which Purisia does not set.
Tracking, cookies, and attribution

Articles may become outdated quickly, especially those mentioning sales, limited offers, or specific prices. Accuracy and errors
We aim to keep affiliate links, product details, and retailer information accurate. If a link is broken, a product has been discontinued, an ingredient list is outdated, or a price is significantly different, contact us through the contact page with the URL and details so we can review and update.
Competitor and brand concerns
If you represent a brand or competitor and believe an affiliate link, product recommendation, price, or detail is inaccurate, unfair, or violates our policies, contact us with supporting context for review.
Reader responsibility
